Don't leave home hungry

If you are feeling hungry before heading out to the next girls night out, shopping spree or sporting event try having today's  featured snack.  This will help you to avoid overeating and will help you to make better food choices when you arrive at the event.  

Today's snack is packed with nutrients your body needs.

Tomatoes are  a great source of vitamin C, vitamin K, folate and potassium. The flavonoids found in spinach are a type of antioxidant that helps prevent cholesterol from oxidizing, and that protects the body from free radicals.  Hard boiled eggs are an excellent source of high-quality protein and rich in B vitamins, zinc and calcium.  

Before you head out this Memorial Day Holiday Weekend to an event where healthy food choices may be difficult or limited give today's snack a try.
