July 4th hike at Cherokee Rock Village

After our Sunday 4th of July Core Class we headed up the mountain to Cherokee Rock Village which is located about 9 miles from Joyland RV Park in Leesburg, AL.  The  park offers Primitive Camping, Pavilion, Picnic Area, Playground, & a Heated Bath House.

Daily Use Fee - $6 per vehicle for standard cars and trucks, $12 per vehicle for passenger vans, and $15 for buses. Camping Fee - $15 per vehicle for standard cars and trucks, $20 per vehicle for passenger vans, and $25 for buses and RVs.

Hiking is quickly becoming one of our favorite activities.  We are looking for trails to explore this summer, please share your favorite trail with us in the comments section below .
