We departed Patrick Air Force Base on Friday. September 10, 2021 heading west to Nevada. 

Our first stay on our adventure is the Madison RV & Golf Resort in Madison, Florida. 

Madison is a city on the central northern border of Florida.

There are very few restaurants in the area, there is a Winn Dixie grocery store.

Area attractions include: Wild Adventures Theme Park, Four Freedoms Trail, Madison Blue Spring State Park. We did not visit any of these attractions.     We used the two days here as a time to relax, host our virtual fitness classes and enjoy some college football.

The park is located near I-10 features full hookups, oversized landscaped RV sites. Fairway and Waterview sites and it is pet friendly. We spent the day enjoying Football.

There is very clear signage leading to the park making it easy to find.

The public 9 whole golf course offers special rates for Clergy, active or retired military, law enforcement and firefighters, students, and high school golf teams

RV Camping Discounts offered: Good Sams, Public Safety, and Military discounts by using the codes: GOODSAMS, MILITARY, or PUBLIC SAFETY. ID will be required upon check in.

Amenities include:

• One of the cleanest and updated bath houses we have ever seen we failed to take pictures of it.
• Swimming Pool
• Pickle Ball Courts
• Catch and release fishing
• Basketball Court
• Wifi (the connection was good)
• Trash pickup from your RV spot
• Propane and ice on site.
• Fire ring at your spot (firewood available on site)
• Picnic table on your spot
• Golfcart rental

The lighting at night is good.  We really enjoyed the park and this would be a great place for  those that enjoy getting in 9 holes of golf.
