We learned how much stuff we don't need to live an awesome life and we were able to make lifelong friends across the states.

Hiking the Valley of Fire State Park was truly amazing. The Valley of Fire is about an hour outside of Las Vegas and is World-renowned for its 40,000 acres of bright red Aztec sandstone outcrops nestled in gray and tan limestone, Valley of Fire State Park contains ancient, petrified trees and petroglyphs dating back more than 2,000 years.
Leading the group hike at Little River Canyon on Memorial Day Weekend for those camping at Joyland RV Park in Alabama was a fun experience. This was the very first hike for some and the entire group enjoyed the experience as you can see from their beautiful smiles.
Spending time with good friends on a Mountain top in North Carolina was a special treat and we are so thankful to our friends Doug and Nury. The view was spectacular.
Attending the Black Cowboy Festival in South Carolina gave us the opportunity to make new friends and enjoy country cooking and living.
In Mississippi, we were very surprised by the warm reception we received and found that being open-minded and willing to explore allowed us to experience another great location.
