2 Steps to Keep Your RV Safe When Away

· RV Travel & Safety Tips

We take two steps to keep our RV safe when leaving for a few hours or days. These are quick and easy steps that can end up saving you Big Bucks:

1. ⚠️ Turn off the water to your RV and/or disconnect it. A water line can burst at any time, and we've seen RVers return from vacation to a water-filled RV.

2. ⚠️Your awning should be brought in. When a wind gust comes along, your awning may be destroyed. We almost learned this the hard way. A beautiful sunny morning in Alabama had us making a quick trip to Walmart, when suddenly heavy winds and rain swept through the campground.:
