From Air Force to Space Force: Where Our RV Journey Began

In 2020, we pulled into Manatee Cove FamCamp at Patrick Air Force Base, full of anticipation and wonder. It was our first official stop as full-time RVers, and although we didn’t know it then, it would become the starting point of a lifestyle that shaped us deeply.

Now known as Patrick Space Force Base, this coastal military campground holds a special place in our hearts—and returning here after five years has brought everything full circle.

More Than Miles: Our Growth on the Road

Over these past five years, we’ve experienced more than scenic views and national historic landmarks.

We’ve grown closer in our❤️ relationship, stronger in our resilience, and more confident in living life on our own terms.

RV life has taught us to let go of excess, stay flexible, and lean into simplicity. The open road became our classroom, and every state brought lessons in gratitude, patience, and presence.

Clarity Through Travel: What We Want from Life

This journey helped us realize what we truly want: peace and freedom.

Peace in our daily lives and in our relationship.

Freedom to move when we want, connect with people from all walks of life, and create moments that matter.

Returning to where it all began reminded us of that desire—and how far we’ve come in aligning with it.

Making friends on the road has been high on our list of things we love about the RVNomad Life
