We departed Rainbow Chase RV Resort in Davenport, Florida on Sunday, June 11, 2023 and headed to our first stop Pelican Roost RV Park (Navy Campground) in Mayport, FL.

We stayed in site 38 a full hookup cement slab site (see the map above) it was right across from the office, kitchen, shower house, restooms and community room which made it easy to run and grab our free morning coffee after our morning walk on the beach. The shower house, laundry facility, landscaping and restrooms are very well maintained.
Located along Florida's picturesque coast, Mayport Pelican Roost RV Park is the perfect getaway for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a tranquil retreat. The walk to the beach was very short and was the perfect setting for our daily walk.
Various camping options are available at Pelican Roost RV Park. Whatever your preference is, the campground has something for you. From tent camping to RV camping.
On base you will find a gym with an indoor pool, sauna and steamroom, a bowling alley, an outdoor pool, basketball courts, a small lake with a walking trail, golf course and a skateboard park.
In the community room you will find books to read, games and puzzles. Just outside you will find corn hole and connect four.
The community room has plenty of table seating and there is also two televisions, DVDs, a Wii and computer.
There if a full kitchen available for camper use.
You will also find an information board with a list of available activities.
Pelican Roost RV Park combines coastal charm with outdoor adventure for the perfect camping experience. No matter what your style is, this campground has something for everyone.
