We recently attended the 2024 Florida RV Super Show and had the opportunity to stop by the Love's Travel Stops booth. The team at Love's shared some exciting details about their expanding services for the RV community, and we're thrilled to share these insights with our readers!
Love's Innovative Approach to RV Travel
Love's Travel Stops, traditionally known for their extensive network of gas stations and convenience stores, are making a significant move into the RV world. With over 30 locations now offering RV hookups and even more impressive, fully-fledged RV stops, they're creating waves in the travel industry.
- RV Parking Spaces: These are available for free overnight stays, although they do not provide any hookups.
- Love’s RV Hookup Locations: Here, you can find dedicated campsites with either partial or full hookups. The prices for these convenient spots range from $32 to $47 per night.
- Love’s RV Stops: A step above the regular hookup locations, these offer more of a campground feel with additional amenities such as communal fire pits, laundry facilities, and playgrounds. These are priced a bit higher, between $45 and $55 per night.
What about Amenities?
Love's doesn't just stop at providing a place to park. Most locations offer full hookups, including 30/50 amp power, water, and dump stations. The larger RV Stops even boast RV-specific retail buildings, sports courts, and communal picnic areas. And, of course, let's not forget the dog parks for our furry companions!
Flexible Pricing and Reservations
One of the highlights shared by the Love's team is their flexible pricing, which ranges seasonally and based on occupancy, generally falling between $37 and $48 per night. They also offer discounts for seniors, military personnel, and Good Sam members. For longer stays, there are limited discounts for weekly and 28-day reservations.
Booking Made Easy
Booking a spot at a Love's RV location is a breeze. You can reserve a site up to 29 days in advance using the Love’s app or on LovesRVStops.com. And if you're not tech-savvy, their call center representatives are ready to assist with reservations.
A Word of Advice
When planning to stay at a Love's Travel Stop, remember that these aren't traditional campgrounds. Expect brightly lit parking lots and some noise from nearby traffic. However, the convenience of on-site fuel pumps, restaurants, and stores open 24 hours a day makes these minor inconveniences worth it.
